I must admit I am not a huge fan of Maddox’s tongue-in-cheek, self-deprecating, misogynistic type humor. I do visit his site from time to time as he does hit on some humorous material here and there but I would have expected more from him in book form.
The book is structured to cover a single topic per letter of the alphabet, covering topics such as boners, knockers, violence and zombies. He writes in his typical “fratire” genre but I felt something was missing. Though the book did make me laugh on several occasions some topics he could have easily added were missing and others were a bit dry. I do recommend any fan of fratire read this book but many people in the general public would be offended as that is the point of humor like this. It is not “PC”, it is blunt and direct, it is “manly”.
